We had a fantastic stay at this rural guesthouse in the hills. the location was serene and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. the friendly and helpful staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. the room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast offered a good variety. We loved the stunning views from the outdoor swimming pool and terrace. the guesthouse is conveniently located near the Queda do Vigario waterfall and a nature reserve, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.
The shared terrace and pool areas could get crowded at times, limiting privacy and availability of seats and loungers.

Situated in a tranquil, mountainous location, only a stone's throw away from the stunning Queda do Vigario waterfall, this guesthouse is a nature lover's paradise. the staff is incredibly accommodating and always on hand to help with any queries. the rooms and bathrooms are sparkling clean, while the breakfast spread is generous and hearty. Guests can also enjoy a refreshing dip in the pristine, small-sized swimming pool.
The absence of a minibar in the room can be a tad inconvenient, especially after a long day spent exploring the nearby nature reserve.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome, and gave us lots of suggestions for things to do in the area. The pool was great, with beautiful views of the countryside. We also enjoyed exploring the local walking paths and finding hidden gems in the surrounding area.
The breakfast - it didn't quite live up to our expectations of organic, locally sourced food. the location was a bit difficult to get to without our own transportation, and we had to rely on hitchhiking or help from locals to get around.
